Ok, so I have been writing a blog for a couple of months now and I think that I must change my format and really give you something that you might need. So, this month I am going to tell you two things. First, I am going to tell you when you should call a real estate agent and then second why you should call a real estate agent.
First things first, right? You should call a real estate agent when you have the idea that you want to buy, sell or rent a house. At this point what ever agent you call (hopefully me) will work for you for free. Agents get paid mostly by sellers and landlords. Why is that you ask? Because real estate agents main job is to protect their client. We are the crossing guards of real estate law. Basically, we prevent you the client from getting run over by any of these big business professionals that frequent the real estate market. We are also your interpreters of the law and the procedures that will insure you get a good product at fair market value.
Second, comes after first but in our case this time it can come before. Here is a list of reasons why you should call. I may miss some or get tired of typing but if you want the rest just give me a call:
You saw a house and you really want to know how much a house like that would really cost.
You have set your goals and on your list, you want to buy your first home, but you don’t know where to start.
You thought your house was worth $300,000 but, the agent that came over today said it was worth $125,000(if they were a doctor you would get a second opinion right!).
You want to buy a house, but you know your credit needs some work (psst…let the agent do the work).
You want to buy a house, but you don’t know what kind of house you want to buy.
Obviously, you want to sell your house.
Your cousin, brother or sister just bought a house and you want to know how to get a house just like that one.
You have nothing to do on Saturday so why not go look at houses.
You’ve been looking at the same house for months now and you what it but you are to scared to find out if you can afford it.
You've looked at 100 houses online and you just can't decide which house is for you (should have called 95 houses ago).
And I am tired of typing now so this is the last one. You promised the kids you would get them a yard and it is time to pay up (that’s why I bought my house).
So, call the real estate agent they will work hard to earn your business. And if they don’t fire them and call me!
